10 Easy Tips To Save Money On Your Home Heating Bills

With higher energy costs than ever before in recent history, it is better to find ways to reduce home heating costs.
Here are 10 tips that I have used personally in order to save on heating my house

1st Head to the ground and reduce the water thermostat to 10 degrees. The connection is usually a red button on the underside of tank.

2nd If you’re down, make sure you clean the filter in the boiler tubes.

3rd Check separates your air ducts for gaps, holes or the connection. Do you have leaks in pipes or separates your would be your heating costs by 25% higher than they are, if these gaps were sealed need.

4th Set the thermostat a few degrees lower.

5th While we’re on the subject of thermostats, then consider your case, not be programmed instead. Also, if you are at work during the day, settle for a lower temperature and thus programmed to start heating the house a little before leaving for home.

8th Close vents in rooms that do not. I have a room in my apartment, which is not currently in use. I closed my air ducts and make windows and doors were properly sealed to limit energy losses.

9th Open curtains and blinds to allow in all the windows during the day sunlight to heat your home. At night they go for additional insulation.

10th Your chimney can help and hurt your heating costs. When closed, the register to inspect and feel the cold air is still not tight on the inside, if you use your fireplace, make sure the heater is to the rest of your home reduced or cut.
